Rell asks Congress for unemployment help: "Rell said Sunday she has joined others in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other leaders asking Congress to extend interest-free borrowing for State Unemployment Insurance Trust Funds for two years and provide a two-year Federal Unemployment Trust Fund Account tax credit.
Rell said a tax credit of 0.5 percent in states with solvent Unemployment Insurance Trust Funds will help create jobs and stimulate economic recovery."
