T.D. JAKES AND SUPPORT FOR APPRISING MINISTRIES : Apprising Ministries
T.D. JAKES AND SUPPORT FOR APPRISING MINISTRIES : Apprising Ministries: "In her piece Bishop T.D. Jakes’ Tweet Reignites Debate About Pastor’s Trinity Theology today Christian Post reporter Nicola Menzie writes about a Twitter exchange between Jakes and myself. I recapped it for you yesterday in T.D. Jakes Says Ken Silva Is Being Obnoxious.
Even though I was respectful of his stature, and really rather gentle in my approach, Jakes would get upset and later block me from following him when I questioned him about his beliefs concerning the nature of God. There’s nothing obnoxious about me doing my job as a pastor-teacher.
When I approach T.D. Jakes, I do so as one of his peers, whether he accepts that or not. Menzie begins:
Bishop T.D. Jakes, the senior pastor of The Potter’s House in Dallas, Texas, was challenged about his beliefs regarding the Holy Trinity during a brief, yet heated, Twitter debate on Friday — not the first time the megachurch pastor and accomplished author has been questioned about his doctrine regarding the Godhead. Assad: challenge Syria at your peril - Telegraph
Assad: challenge Syria at your peril - Telegraph: "Western countries "are going to ratchet up the pressure, definitely," he said. "But Syria is different in every respect from Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen. The history is different. The politics is different.
"Syria is the hub now in this region. It is the fault line, and if you play with the ground you will cause an earthquake … Do you want to see another Afghanistan, or tens of Afghanistans?
"Any problem in Syria will burn the whole region. If the plan is to divide Syria, that is to divide the whole region."
Thousands of anti-government demonstrators took to the streets in two Syrian cities on Friday to demand the imposition of a Libyan-style no-fly zone over the country. According to the United Nations, at least 3,000 civilians, including 187 children, have been killed during protests against the regime. Thousands more have been imprisoned. The government says 1,200 members of the security forces have also died."

Ocean Absorbed 79 Percent Of Fukushima Fallout - Forbes
Ocean Absorbed 79 Percent Of Fukushima Fallout - Forbes: "“Altogether, we estimate that 6.4 TBq of 137Cs, or 19 percent of the total fallout until 20 April, were deposited over Japanese land areas, while most of the rest fell over the North Pacific Ocean,” the authors write. “Only 0.7 TBq, or 2 percent of the total fallout were deposited on land areas other than Japan.”
Scientists generally regard ocean absorption of fallout preferable to land deposits, because water absorbs radiation and the volume of the ocean dilutes it. On land, radioactive isotopes can be consumed by livestock and concentrated in milk and other food sources.
The study also notes that airborne emissions of cesium 137 continued until March 19, when Japanese authorities began spraying water on the spent fuel pool of reactor #4."
