PPL says Unit 1 was shut down a little after 6 a.m. Tuesday after the leak was discovered in a system that heats water for the reactor. Tim Rausch, PPL's chief nuclear officer, says repairs will be made promptly and Unit 1 will be returned to service 'in a safe and reliable manner.'"
