Gov. Andrew Cuomo Orders Full Shutdown Of MTA Subways, Buses, Trains « CBS New York: Gov. Andrew Cuomo has ordered a system-wide shutdown of the Metropolitan Transit Authority starting at noon Saturday ahead of Hurricane Irene.
In a statement, Cuomo said the shutdown will include subways, buses, Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad and Access-A-Ride.
