BREAKING: Five students shot at Chardon High School, student - 19 Action News|Cleveland, OH|Breaking News, Weather, Exclusives: "Five students - four boys and one girl - shot at Chardon High School early Monday morning. Three of the victims were lifeflighted to Metro, the other two victims to Hillcrest Hospital. No word on conditions at this time.
The shootings happened in the cafeteria around 7:40AM, before classes started for the day.
A 19 Action News has learned a teacher chased the student gunman from the building. The suspect later surrendered to two innocent bystanders about an hour later. The 17-year-old suspect is cooperating with police.
The high school, which was placed on lock down, was evacuated around 8:50AM. All high school students were then taken to Maple Elementary School to be reunited with their parents."
