State Senator Scott White Found Dead in Hotel Room - News Story - KIRO Seattle: "- A spokeswoman says Washington state Senator Scott White has been found dead in a Cle Elum hotel room.
Dana Robinson Slote said Friday night that White died earlier in the day. White's spokeswoman did not immediately have information on the cause of death.
"We see no evidence of foul play at the scene, but this is an unexplained death so we will be investigating fully," Kittitas County Sheriff Gene Dana said.
Slote told KIRO 7 late Friday the senator was at the Suncadia resort for a Seattle Chamber of Commerce Event, and was scheduled to be part of panel earlier in the day."
